K2 Integrity’s Juan C. Zarate will be moderating an invitation-only event, “Bolstering American Economic Statecraft: A Conversation with Senators Cornyn and Casey on Outbound Investments,” presented by FDD’s Center on Economic and Financial Power (CEFP). The CEFP will host Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) and Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) for an on-the-record event on Wednesday, 27 September, where they will discuss ways to safeguard America’s economy and national security and ensure Washington has what it needs to build a more unified understanding of investment risks with appropriate screening mechanisms.
Hosted on Capitol Hill, the livestreamed event will be moderated by Juan—a co-founder of CEFP and its current chair—and feature a discussion with Elaine Dezenski, CEFP senior director and head, and Nova Daly, senior public policy advisor at Wiley Rein, LLP and CEFP advisor.
