The Global Coalition to Fight Financial Crime (GCFFC), under the leadership of John Cusack, has published a consultation paper produced by Mariano Federici and other former senior regulators on “How to Improve Supervisory Effectiveness: 10 Key Enablers and 40 Key Takeaways.” The GCFFC will engage with all those that wish to contribute to finalize this work.
The paper discusses the journey to AML/CFT supervisory effectiveness. By outlining best practices from lessons learned and focusing on realistic, risk-based approaches, it aims to support supervisors in building robust, adaptable frameworks that meet evolving standards and challenges.
