With comprehensive knowledge of financial crimes compliance, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and industry best practices, she works with investment advisors and financial institutions to design, develop, and implement compliance programs in line with requirements issued by the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) and other regulators.
Ashley leverages her knowledge in AML, sanctions/Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and fraud compliance to support clients with risk-based program enhancement efforts. She supports a broad array of clients with financial crimes compliance, including mid-sized and large financial institutions, digital asset firms, international banks, and non-banks. She helps clients translate AML/CFT, sanctions/OFAC, and fraud regulatory requirements into compliance frameworks and companywide procedural, policy, and process documentation, and has worked across the Three Lines of Defense to enhance key Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, such as customer identification programs (CIPs), customer due diligence (CDD), and enhanced due diligence (EDD).
