Joanne Taylor will speak at the upcoming OSCE Security Committee Meeting on “Tangible Actions in Preventing Terrorism—Terrorist Financing, Money Laundering, and Passenger Data Exchange Systems” on 20 July 2021. Joanne’s presentation will consider the perspective and role of the private sector in CFT/AML, providing insight as to the benefits of collaboration via public-private partnerships.
The meeting, which will be attended by diplomats and representatives from OSCE Member States, will consist of a thematic discussion on practical measures to counter terrorist financing and money laundering, as well as insights as to how passenger data exchange systems can be utilized to interrupt and prevent the movement of terrorists and the benefits that can be realized from the implementation of such systems.
