Bryan conducts transaction monitoring for domestic and international financial institution clients, specifically investigating cross-border correspondent banking activity for anomalies and suspicious activity trends. He leads and trains teams of analysts at K2 Integrity tasked with identifying and investigating potential suspicious activity flagged by transaction monitoring software. Prior to joining K2 Integrity, Bryan worked at Fiserv, where he performed AML analysis and monitoring of “CheckFreePay” products for a global, multimillion-dollar enterprise and industry leader in bill payment solutions. He ensured compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the USA PATRIOT Act throughout payment transactions to banks, utilities, insurance companies, and money service businesses. In addition, Bryan continuously collaborated with senior leadership to develop a robust Know Your Customer (KYC) program. Bryan later worked as a senior team member for the merchant onboarding process for CheckFreePay, where he was assigned to perform enhanced due diligence (EDD) and risk assessments on high-risk client relationships. He helped develop a client onboarding portal specifically designed to ensure all required compliance-related commitments were satisfied prior to engaging in bill payment relationships.
Before his time at Fiserv, Bryan worked at Connecticut Community Bank, where he performed transacting monitoring for various banking products to identify money laundering and fraudulent violations. Additionally, he continuously reviewed and tested various procedures and oversight initiatives to ensure compliance with BSA/Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations. He assisted the bank’s BSA officer and compliance officer in preparation for audit engagements, including Office of the Comptroller of the Currency examinations.
