Juan Zarate spoke at the 4th Great Power Competition Conference: 9/11 Gathering Wisdom from Experience. Sponsored by University of South Florida in partnership with the National Defense University’s NESA Center for Strategic Studies, the U.S. Central Command, the U.S. Special Operations Command, and the Florida Center for Cybersecurity, the event commemorated the 20th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks by focusing on the day of those attacks and the United States’ immediate military, diplomatic, and strategic response. Juan presented on the 22 September panel “The Attacks: Part 2.”
