Richard Hills and Sarah Runge will speak at the 2024 Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW). Held from 9 to 12 December 2024, the conference gathers leaders, market experts, and entrepreneurs from more than 100 countries to explore the power of financial, human, and technological capital as a competitive propellor for economic growth.
Richard will take part in the panel discussion “Building Tomorrow’s Elite Teams: Redefining Performance and Collaboration.” The 10 December session will explore the art of talent building within organizations, with a focus on fostering the delicate balance between competition and cooperation within teams. Richard and his fellow panelists will discuss how organizations can foster healthy competition while encouraging collaboration.
Sarah will speak on the 11 December panel discussion, “Emerging Threats in Financial Crimes.” The panel will discuss emerging financial crime threats fueled by technology: cryptocurrencies and DeFi, which expand avenues for money laundering, terrorism financing, and fraud; cyber crime, which exposes financial system vulnerabilities; and digital wallets and peer-to-peer platforms, which reduce transparency, raising risks of undetected financial crimes.
