Yelena Talmazan will be speaking at the annual membership meeting of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) New York Chapter. Speaking on the topic “Navigating New IIA Global Standards and Topical Standards,” Yelena and her fellow panelists will cover how internal audit functions are emerging as the new IIA Global Standards come into effect—including a discussion of the more frequent questions that the IIA Standards Board is getting regarding the EQA against the new Standards—as well as some lessons learned. The panel will also discuss the topical requirements, the implementation challenges, and the emerging risks in the cyber space, as well as offer advice for successful implementation.
