Richard Hills lent his insight on new technologies and their powers to help detect and prevent financial crimes as a core contributor to the April 2023 Digital Working Group white paper, “Current Views on Technologies in Anti-Financial Crime White Paper—Summaries and Expert Commentary.” The white paper, developed by the Digital Working Group of the AML/CFT Partnership Forum, a public-private partnership platform set up under the Executive Office of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing in the United Arab Emirates, offers a high-level overview of current technology that has proven to advance or demonstrates encouraging possibilities in significantly improving stakeholders’ capabilities to fight financial crime.
