Jeffrey Francisco is an associate managing director in the Financial Crimes Compliance practice at K2 Integrity, based in New York. Jeffrey advises Fortune 500 clients within the financial services industry on anti-money laundering (AML) matters that include transaction investigations coupled with know your customer (KYC) remediations and the development and review of KYC policies and procedures, as well the oversight of suspicious activity report (SAR) preparation. With more than a decade of experience serving the financial services industry, Jeffrey manages a staff of 100+ analysts and works closely with clients to identify problematic issues and gaps, assess risk, and execute strategic and tactical risk management recommendations.
Prior to joining K2 Integrity, Jeff was a vice president at JP Morgan Chase within its global financial crimes compliance division, where he managed a team of 20 analysts and provided oversight of investigation components involving foreign correspondent banking relationships that included all aspects of SAR processing and reporting.
He also served as a manager within Ernst & Young’s advisory services practice, where he led AML client engagements for major financial institutions, including AML/KYC gap analysis, AML/KYC look-backs, and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) risk assessments.
Jeff also worked at Navigant Consulting, Capital One Bank, and the Internal Revenue Service (Criminal Investigations Division: Anti-Money Laundering and Asset Forfeiture Unit), where his responsibilities included oversight and execution of complex financial investigations.
Jeff earned his M.A. in criminal justice leadership and his B.S. in criminal justice and business administration from St. John’s University. He is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and is fluent in Spanish.
