Lynne Sakr is a director in K2 Integrity’s Investigations and Disputes research practice in London. Lynne works on a range of investigative matters, including conducting multilingual research for multijurisdictional due diligence projects and complex investigations as well as performing internal investigations into corruption, malpractice, and sanctions exposure. Her clients range from governmental agencies and multinational companies to high-net-worth individuals and international law firms. Past projects have focused on the Middle East and North Africa, leveraging her fluency in Arabic and French as well as her acute regional knowledge to conduct investigations tailored to the project’s jurisdiction. Additionally, Lynne helps lead the firm’s UK pre-employment due diligence assignments.
Prior to joining K2 Integrity, Lynne advised the Permanent Mission of Lebanon to the United Nations in New York, led field research for a Lebanese human rights NGO, and assisted the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). She also worked in financial and consulting services at EY and S&P Global (formerly IHS Markit).
Lynne received an M.Sc. in conflict studies with a focus on the Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa and a B.Sc. in philosophy, politics, and economics from the London School of Economics (LSE). She is a native English, French, and Arabic speaker as well as an intermediate Spanish speaker.
